Self-employed in NL, Can you show me your tax doc
WANTED, Is there anyone living in Newfoundland that runs a business from home that is willing to provide me with a copy of their T1 General tax forms from 2023 or any previous year? I would prefer that your business be a service that you provide from living at home where you would just accept payment directly from your customers anytime that you provide the service. I say this because selling physical products instead probably produces a much more different tax result. I also just wanted to see a copy of your notice of assessment from 2023 that you got back with your taxes too. You can just blur out your SIN number and any other personal information that you don’t want me to have before sending it to me and I will give you my email address. You can even black out your name from it, it doesn’t matter to me. Just leave all of the financial numbers in the documents.
The reason I want to see this is that I only recently started running a business from home but its been a nightmare trying to do my taxes because I have no other example T1 general forms and / or notice of assessments to look at as a business owner. Tried google searching often but can find no other example documents online to look at either.
I think I have most of the forms done and filled out right though. Just need to compare my documents and numbers to someone else’s example to go by before I send this off to the CRA. So if you happen to see this post later and you don’t mind sending me some of your documents, reply when you can. thanks
