Sonnet Echo Express SE 1

THUNDERBOLT‑TO‑PCIE Expansion System, Sonnet Echo Express SE 1 Expansion System

The Sonnet Echo Express SE I is a compact, 1‑slot Thunderbolt‑to‑PCIe desktop expansion system that lets you connect a single full‑height, half‑length+ PCIe card (plus a daughter card) to Mac, Windows, or Linux computers with Thunderbolt ports

Purpose and Use
Modern thin laptops, small form factor, and all‑in‑one PCs offer high processing power but lack PCIe expansion slots. The Echo Express SE I solves this by providing a Thunderbolt interface to a PCIe card slot, enabling the use of professional cards such as:

Video capture devices

Audio interfaces

SAS/SATA host bus adapters

Fibre Channel controllers

10Gb Ethernet adapters

RAID controllers
