Anyone selling fixer-upper house in St. John's?
WANTED Good day to anyone reading this ad, I am in the process of trying to buy either a starter home that doesn’t require any renovations or just any kind of fixer upper house in the St. Johns or Mount Pearl area and I will be searching for any property like that during the next 12 – 14 months until Nov of 2027. However, if I find nothing until after that time, then I will most likely just be moving to central Newfoundland. So if you think that you have a house now or sometime within the next 12 months that you might be willing to sell, can you contact me to discuss all of the details?
It’s not too much of a problem if you are still getting the place ready either or making any kind of repairs yourself since I still have several months before I decide to move away from the city. So don’t feel like you need to rush to get the house ready. We will stay in contact if you are still fixing it using your own methods or costs. Or you can just let me know if you prefer to leave it entirely unfixed and if most costs will end up going to me. You can also just let me know what overall price you have in mind.
I have already been pre-approved for financing from a mortgage broker and most major banks. So it would only take me a few weeks to take possession of the house since I would only need to re-submit more updated income and tax-related documents to the bank again during 2027. I will commit to buying the place after doing a quick viewing with you. I would want a viewing only just to see how many more renovations would still need to be made to the property before I am able to move in.
