Vintage 1.5L "Big Boss" Glass Pepsi Bottle

Only one of the 8 tear tabs is missing.


In 1979, the Canadian government mandated a massive recall and ban on 1.5-liter glass soda bottles (including the Big Boss). The large glass containers had a dangerous manufacturing defect—if they tipped over or were dropped, the pressurized glass would not just crack, but would violently shatter, sending dangerous shards flying and causing injuries.
